Professional Home Builders and Remodelers Association

The PHBRA came to me for help creating an entirely web based association. With a searchable member directory, job board, online store and so much more, this site is going to be the number one site for anyone in the home remodeling business. From design to development, I took this project from start to finish and am continuing to be a part of making this association a success.

Tomica Toys

For the North American launch, TOMY wanted a website that would introduce American kids, aged 4-7, to the Tomica brand. The Buddy Group was tasked with designing a site to help Tomica Toys a household name in North America. With features like "My Garage" and a game that lets you drive around the world of Tomica, Tomica Toys is guaranteed to be a hit. I developed the site, including creating a flash driving game for kids to enjoy.

Acme Sports

Acme Sports came to me after a year of trying to deal with one of those larger firms. They weren't getting the personalized attention they needed. They came to me with an idea to redesign their outdated site and a lot of lofty goals. We worked together to create a site that showcased their clients, gave them a secure place to share files and important information with their clients and of course to market to new clients as well. The site is made to be easily updated and is translated into 3 different languages.

YouTube Show and Tell

YouTube, in conjunction with the Art Directors Club, came to The Buddy Group looking for help creating a custom brand channel to showcase great examples of how users have been using YouTube. The Buddy Group designed a fun site that showed off how creative use of YouTube can really help your marketing. I developed the site in flash, and built a custom script that allowed YouTube to edit content and then deploy the site to the Google App Engine, which is where the content lives. It was a fun combination of flash/actionscript, php and python.

Kid Cuisine Krazy Combos

This promotion focused on allowing kids to help create the next Krazy Combo meal from ConAgra Foods. To illustrate just how crazy things can get we developed the Krazy Combo Challenge. Four different games using four different themed KC's entertained and challenged kids for hours. Designed by The Buddy Group, developed by BCBirkhauser using flash/actionscript.

Kid Cuisine Planet 51 Games

For the release of the animated film, Planet 51, and Con Agra's new Kid Cuisine meals, The Buddy Group designed a site where it was up to the kids to help Kid Cuisine get back to Earth after he accidentally landed on Planet 51. By following KC's escape plan map, kids played six different games in order to see KC blast back to Earth. Games and site were developed entirely by myself in flash and php.

Star Trek

Launching a new toy line in support of the 2009 mega hit movie, Star Trek, Playmates Toys strove to capture the attention of collectors and kids alike.The Buddy Group created a visually stunning website that makes it easy for users to get detailed visuals and text about each of the toys. The "Cool Stuff" section of the site includes information on events and product updates so consumers can stay updated at warp speed. Site was developed entirely by me using mainly php with flash elements to give the site that 'futuristic' feel.

Terminator Salvation

Playmates Toys asked The Buddy Group to create a microsite to showcase the new toys, provide consumers with toy info, and entice kids and collectors alike to get in on the action. The site includes a product carousel, links to the movie trailer and a "Plug into Skynet" RSS feed. The easy-to-navigate site combines the styling from the movie and the toys in a way that is sure to launch users into the future. Developed entirely by me using php with flash elements like the intro, homepage product carousel and navigation.

Princess Academy

The My Princess Academy site teaches little princesses about Generosity, Intelligence, Beauty and Confidence. The site was created for the new product line by Almar Sales. The site needed to be visually dynamic so The Buddy Group created custom illustrations immersing users into an entire world for young Princesses. Since learning is easier when it is also fun, we created several games to keep kids entertained. The site was developed by myself entirely in flash to transport users into the My Princess Academy world.
